What an amazing Head of the River Event. Rowers were blessed with fine rowing conditions and there were some fantastic races during the day, culminating in what will be remembered as one of the closest First Eight finishes in history!
Congratulations to the MLC First Eight Crew who beat the favourites PLC in an epic battle won by the tiniest of margins. The photofinish was needed to separate the crews on the finish line. PLC won the Overall Head of the River regatta trophy, and also won the Premier Trophy for the most points throughout the season, with Perth College finishing in 2nd place, and St Hilda's in 3rd place. Congratulations to all rowers on a fantastic end to an exciting season.
Results of races can be found in the results section below.
