Congratulations to Iona Presentation College on winning the 46th IGSSA Swimming Carnival for the third year in a row. Six records were set on the night. For all details of results see the results section below.

The IGSSA Swimming Carnival is held in Term 1 between all 8 IGSSA Member Schools and includes competitors from Year 7 – 12. It is the first big event on the IGSSA sporting calendar.

The carnival was first held in 1963 and has been traditionally held at Beatty Park Leisure Centre in Leederville.

In 2009 the carnival moved to Challenge Stadium. The carnival is officiated by WA Swimming Officials and the Host School.
